The Soaring Herlit
The Soaring Herlit is located high in spires of the northern mountains of Thentis. Many years ago a Warrior climbed in pursuit of a great herlit, as it soared into the heights of the spires. When he crested the west pass, he was blessed by the Priest Kings with a vew of a lush valley being woken by the warmth of Lar Torvis, thus the Valley of the Morning Light got it's name. After finding the wounded herlit and nursing it back to heath, the Warrior built an Inn and Tavern, providing rest and comfort to those traveling to the North. If one looks high over the peaks, they can see Bal`agor, that same fierce Warrior Herlit, keeping an eye on the Valley below.Over time the Valley has expanded and continues to flourish, and is now the only place that authentic Thentian blackwine beans are grown. The Valley provides Gor with cocoa beans, Needle tree lumber, cherries, ale, mead, paga and kalana, as well as other libations, known to Gor. The location of it's goldmines remain a secret to this day; no one save the Ubar knows their location, though many have passed to the City of Dust attempting to get that information..

Market
A large U shaped Market with everything on sale you could wish for from hair to dance urns, clothes too serving trays.

Tharna
The City of Tharna is the subject of the second of the Gor novels, Outlaw of Gor. Tharna was once like any other Gorean city. But, over many generations, female dominance became the norm. The city was ruled by a Tatrix, a queen. She wore a gold mask of a beautiful but cold face. Her Robes of Concealment were also gold in color. All women in the city wore similar masks though their masks were made of silver. Tharna was known for providing hospitality to strangers unlike most other cities. Free women walk unattended, with no need for bodyguards. They walk with an imperious step and the men step aside so they do not touch any of the women. Tharna has great wealth due to its abundant silver mines, over a hundred of them. Tharna is also known as the City of Silver. They are worked by male slaves. Also outside the cities is located the Pillar of Exchanges, a place where Tharna and its enemies exchange prisoners.

Market
Tharna has a two large markets where you can buy a complete range of goods. There are plenty of Gorean shops as well as large selection of clothes and accessories.

Crater Valley
Along a small, unnamed branch of the Olni River, on the edge of the very black rocks of the Sardar Mountains themselves lies the small village of Crater Valley. Named for the mighty volcano in whose shadow the the village lies, Crater Valley is the home of a small gathering of hearty men living by way of trade and the grace of the Priest-Kings. In the small forest filled with large trees, few have ever ventured past the river, and those that have, are never seen again. Tales are told of wild women that live in the forest, but they are not seen, are they stories or is there truth?
Market
Crater Valley has a large sky mall, situated approximately 1000 meters above the sim floor. Crater Valley Market has stalls available: 25 prims – 100L a week (regular stalls on the 2nd and bottom floor),50 prims – 200L a week (corner stalls on the 2nd and bottom floor)100 prims – 400L a week (premium stalls, at the landing point when you first teleport into the sim) Contact Sayia Seljan upon renting in order to get an invite to the land group. You will only need the group to place your vendors

The Isle of the Lar Torvis
The Isle of the Lar Torvis is a roleplay Gorean city, located in the Northern Thassa, due west by northwest of the Northern Forests, just south of the Island of Hulneth. Taking from the first book in the series written by John Norman, Tarnsman of Gor, we are an Island where the worship of the Tor tu Gor is allowed. "The more common expression for the sun was Tor-tu-Gor, which means Light Upon the Home Stone. There was a sect among the people that worshiped the sun, I later learned, ....." Tarnsman of Gor page 16
It should be understood though, that since the development of the life style and rituals of this "sect" were not discussed in the books, we do not pretend to know these things, or create new non "BTB" situations, castes, rituals etc.. We live largely as any other Gorean city, a simple Merchant Law trading port, fishing and hunting, creating trade goods, and surviving the typical threats to our life and prosperity much as any other Gorean city.

Market
We have a small marketplace just off the old dock with several carefully selected vendors as well as our famous NLS market.

City of Turia
Welcome to the City of Turia, the Ar of the South. Visit the grandure of the largest and richest City in the far south. Come and enjoy a Turian bath, its pools, cascading waters and breath-taking decor. Seek a Turian pleasure with Gor's most beautiful girls. The luxuries, the gold, silver, jewels, the pure decadence, the sweetest wines and the best liquors of Gor. Raved by many as one of the most beautiful cities in All of Gor. The Architectural features alone, draws many to its splendor. We Welcome One & All to the City of Turia, the City of Pleasure.
"The grand city of Turia, city of my birth, is located in the southern hemisphere and is sometimes called the Ar of the south because its grandeur is thought by many to equal or even rival that of Ar." ~Nomads of Gor p1 & p 87
"I found Turia to match my expectations. She was luxurious. Her shops were filled with rare, intriguing paraphernalia. I smelled perfumes that I had never smelled before. More than once we encountered a line of musicians dancing single file down the center of the street, playing on their flutes and drums, perhaps on their way to a feast. 1 was pleased to see again, though often done in silk, the splendid varieties of caste colors of the typical Gorean city, to hear once more the cries of peddlers that I knew so well, the cake sellers, the hawkers of vegetables, the wine vendor bending under a double verrskin of his vintage." "Nomads of Gor" page 87

Fort Sanobar - Deep Northern Forest
Fort Sanobar, an abandoned Outpost of Torvolanders deep in the north central section of the Northern Forest. A group of homeless refugees from the coastal region, having run from their last home after a devastating battle, came upon a rustic long house covered in vegetation and cob webs. Tired from their long trek, they decide to create camp in the needle tree wilderness, making the abandoned long house their shelter. Through the months, leading into years, the group created a stone and wood walled fortress surrounding the sight of the old outpost. A small village now encompassing the internal area allowing for the Villagers of Fort Sanobar to live in safety from the outlying predators—Panthers, sleens, invading travelers on a quest for the precious goods the villagers have collected and store for previsions and trade to other regions.
The ways of the founding fathers southern traditions, intermingling with the feel of the ghosts of the torvolanders that had once lived and fought in this region. As this is a working enclosed village, all are expected to help in any way possible. The women of the fort are permitted to dress in northern attire as it allows for less restriction when working in the fields, or with the animals, etc (see description in free woman section). All slaves, be it private or fort owned, are expected to help in always. All men are expected to not only help provide essentials for the residences of the fort to survive, but also in the defense if and when marauding groups come upon our tranquil homestone. All are welcome to Fort Sanobar, but be prepared to live as goreans do—men are men and women second class always, in a harsh land of the deep northern forest.
